This year we are committed to taking action and empowering others to do what they can in the fight for justice. From January 11-21, join thousands around the world as we chose one of the 21 ways to help and shout it out to everyone, everywhere.
We believe awareness is 80% of the solution and we are committed to bringing injustice to light. 2012 will be a significant year BeCAUSE we have an opportunity like never before to add our voices to the global shout for justice. This is our year to make a difference—together.
To start off the year we are setting aside ten days (January 11-21) for BECAUSE to collaboratively let others know how we are involved. Reading the descriptions of the 21 Ways to Help will help you find an action step that feels right for you. Once you've committed to it, tell others! Whether on Twitter or Facebook, at work or school, don't underestimate your influence.

- Choose an action step.
- Communicate it with others. (Hashtags on twitter or hyperlinks and shares on Facebook can spread the word! EG: I believe in freedom #BeCAUSE human beings aren't property.)
Last year was an exciting feat of rehabilitating women, opening new shelters, and empowering people to make a difference through campaigns much like #BeCAUSE. We stand on the shoulders of all that occurred in 2011, but eagerly wait to witness the greater things we will accomplish together in 2012.
